Parent Workshop: Talking About Race Part II

A WORKSHOP FOR ALL PARENTS COMMITTED TO RACIAL JUSTICE

This version of Talking about Race is part II of a workshop customized for parents, guardians and caregivers to explore strategies for addressing race and racism with their children. Participants learn how children see race and gain skills to promote positive racial identity development in children. This workshop is only recommended if you attended the first workshop held at PS 11 in the Spring of 2019. Due to the small group interactive nature of the workshop, it is limited to 35 participants. Food, childcar and a get out of homework pass will be provided. For more information contact the school leadership team email SLT@ps11bk.org.
